About the Role:
Working in the ‘Data Science and Data Management’ team of a well-established tech consultancy organization, your unit is responsible for the entire data processing process, from data collection to the creation of digital products. As part of the team, you will work on the entire data-based value chain and contribute to the continuous development of our data-based product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will shape all topics related to data management in the complete project work from requirements analysis and specification to implementation, rollout and operation.
- Together with the team, you define the requirements for databases and data processing processes and ensure that these are met
- You will design our databases, develop them further and thus ensure secure, efficient and economical data storage
- As an interface to IT Operations, you will work on setting up and developing the company's own data infrastructure and architecture
Skills and Expertise:
- Completed studies in computer science, business informatics or a comparable course of study or an equivalent qualification
- Sound knowledge of data management, basic knowledge of software development and initial experience of database architecture
- Experience in modelling and implementing relational (e.g. MySQL, MS SQL) and NoSQL (e.g. Mongo DB) databases and in the area of database migration.
- Understanding of Cloud storage systems (GCP, AWS or Azure)
- Experience developing data pipelines (ETL/ELT) and the associated workflows
- Good knowledge of one or more programming languages (SQL, Python, Java, R or similar)
- Creative mindset to question processes and implement change
