About the Role:

As the Key Account Manager you will be targeted to manage and retain bulk contracts including stock levels and renewal dates while updating the CRM accordingly with all meeting notes and send summary of meeting and any requested information to client. You will also be required as the Key Account Manager to forward plan monthly & quarterly review meetings with each named account to drive continuous growth within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships with multiple stakeholders of varying disciplines within each account; use these relationships to retain business and grow business.
  • Identify and create new opportunity.
  • Deliver product through web portals wherever possible.
  • Maintain record of all business discussion using diary system and HubSpot.
  • Maintain accurate records of account activity.
  • Align internal resources and set clear project related objectives.
  • Submission of monthly reports including business forecasting including trials, projects, and customer zone portal activity.
  • Constantly develop sales skill set.
  • Adherence to the business wishes of the Sales Manager and other members of the leadership team.
  • Ensure all agreed service levels are attained.
  • Deliver an unfaltering value-added proposition to each account.
  • Work with and regularly communicate with internal stakeholders.
  • Work to retain existing revenues and where possible identify new opportunities.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Evidence of several years experience with a successful track record in Account Management, preferably large major clients in the commercial sector.
  • Experience in the development of accounts from local level upwards.
  • Outstanding organisational skills are essential.
  • Persistent and able to build long-term customer relations, as well as being able to communicate well at all levels within business.
  • Good negotiation skills.
