About the role:

Our client is currently scaling aggressively across TikTok, Meta, and Shopify—and creative is at the heart of everything they do. They’re looking for a Creative Strategist who lives and breathes short-form content and understands how to turn ideas into high-performing paid ads. You’ll be responsible for ideating, briefing, and optimising ad creatives across TikTok and paid social, working closely with our media buyers, content team, and influencers. This is not a passive “ideas” role—this is a results-driven, performance creative role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop scroll-stopping ad concepts tailored for TikTok and paid social
  • Generate weekly creative testing plans (hooks, angles, formats, messaging)
  • Identify winning patterns and scale them across campaigns
  • Translate product benefits into high-converting storytelling
  • Analyse ad performance (CTR, hook rate, hold rate, CPA, ROAS)
  • Iterate quickly based on data—not opinions
  • Build a creative testing machine with clear hypotheses and learnings
  • Work closely with paid media to align on scaling strategies
  • Write clear, high-converting creative briefs for UGC creators, influencers, and editors
  • Guide creators on hooks, scripts, structure, and delivery
  • Oversee execution to ensure content is native, engaging, and platform-first
  • Stay ahead of TikTok trends, formats, and cultural moments
  • Understand what feels organic vs. “ad-like”
  • Understand what feels organic vs. “ad-like”
  • Align creatives with landing pages, offers, and Shopify funnel performance
  • Ensure messaging consistency from ad → landing page → checkout
  • Contribute ideas to improve conversion across the full funnel

Skills and expertise

  • Proven experience creating high-performing TikTok or paid social ads
  • Strong understanding of direct response marketing
  • Deep knowledge of UGC-style creative and short-form video
  • Ability to interpret performance data and turn it into creative decisions
  • Highly proactive, fast-moving, and comfortable in a test-and-learn environment
  • Strong copywriting skills (hooks, scripts, CTAs)
  • Experience working with e-commerce brands (DTC preferred)
  • Experience in beauty, wellness, or dental
  • Hands-on experience editing or scripting content
  • Experience working with influencers or creator networks
  • Familiarity with platforms like TikTok Ads Manager, Meta Ads, Shopify, and Klaviyo
