About the Role:
We’re working with an innovative company that offers bespoke saving solutions to their high-level clients and using data to re-shape their customer experience and offer energy efficiency and huge financial savings.
In this economics driven role, you will coordinate the data into actionable insights, using bespoke in-house systems to obtain and format the data into dashboards and reports whilst suggesting innovative BI solutions to help your customers make savings. Maintaining customer relationships, communicating technical insights to technical and non-technical business leaders in a user-friendly format.

Working within a small dedicated technical team you will be supporting internal and external stakeholders. Using data to create opportunity for savings and creating monthly update reports.
You will take a strong lead in providing insights and your suggestions will be highly valued in securing client savings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain and scrutinise datasets (from various sources) concerning energy usage, production, and distribution. Recognise patterns and create data strategy to advance customer and business efficiency.
- Develop and sustain Excel-based models and reports for analysing energy trends, pinpointing inefficiencies, and monitoring performance.
- Managing customer energy efficiency gains, monitoring, and collaborating with the team to decipher data and conveying into actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Contribute to the creation of reports, dashboards, and presentations to demonstrate pivotal metrics and performance indicators, then presenting to stakeholders.
Skills and Expertise:
- Industry experience within Energy sector.
- Creating dashboards and using visualisation tools (Tableau / Power BI) is a bonus.
- Familiarity using coding languages (SQL/Python/R).
- Advanced skills with Excel (pivot tables, data visualisation, manipulating formula).
- Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills, translating complex data into actionable insights.
- Stakeholder management skills – communicating technical information to non-technical clients.
