About the Company:
Fastest growing and most successful renewable heating and energy solutions provider in the region and we are now looking to develop their management team with the appointment of an Electrical Manager. This client are very active across a number of industry sectors including the government mandated Energy Company Obligation (Eco4) scheme, long term framework agreements with borough councils and the domestic and commercial able to pay sector. They are part of a large group of companies based in Worksop that have grown over the last 40 years on a principle of excellent customer service and this remains a driving principle of the business model.
About the Role:
In this role you will be a member of the senior management team so you will be an integral part of the decision making process regarding strategy and implementation of ideas and processes that will ensure we continue to grow and succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day to day management of the electrical teams including the solar PV installers.
- All work scheduling for teams under your management.
- Liaison with heating teams and PM’s for work scheduling.
- Management of sub-contractors.
- Occasional hands on involvement on installations of heat pumps and solar PV.
- Sign off of all installations at QS level.
- Complete all DNO applications (support will be given for the G98 applications).
- Commercial and large scale Solar PV surveys and quotations.
- Project reviews and NCR’s.
- Materials ordering and stock control.
- Recruitment and retention for electrical team.
- Troubleshooting.
Skills and Expertise: You will be an experienced electrician with some managerial experience and the qualifications listed below.
- Electrical NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
- 18th Edition with wiring regs.
- BS2391 Inspection and Testing.
Nice to have:
- BPEC Solar.
- EV Charging.
- Battery Storage.
- If you have experience within the renewables sector that would be a distinct advantage.
