About the Role:
As the finance assistant you will be supporting the financial operations of an organisation. You’ll be involved with things such as recording financial transactions, processing invoices, preparing financial reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes, helping to facilitate informed decision-making by providing timely and reliable financial information to management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in month end closure and associated reconciliations
- Processing purchase invoices, supplier statement reconciliation, maintain up to date records.
- Posting of fixed assets.
- Liasing with vendors to solve queries.
- Work with other departments to address payment or invoice-related inquiries.
- Other duties may include posting sales invoices, bank reconciliations.
- Cover staff when off.
Skills and Expertise:
- Experience in using Xero
- Experience in purchase ledgers
- Experience in month end tasks
- Experience in sales ledgers
