About the Role:

The aim of the Company is to develop a successful, sustainable and profitable business based on gas utilisation and/or generator supply. The company is looking for clean, safe and well-run sites, which meet the performance targets and provide full written records. Successful execution of all projects on time and within budget is critical as is ensuring that all maintenance/projects are completed in strict accordance with the scope of works and detailed specification documentation. To ensure that all projects meet the highest quality standards in line with company HSQE procedures will be critical to this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extensive travel within the UK (predominantly North Wales/Lincoln area Northward).
  • Conduct and report on gas monitoring and site performance parameters on existing sites Fault find, maintain, and repair gas collection systems.
  • Take measurements and samples on site to ensure that the work and materials meet the specifications and quality standards.
  • Prepare and perform accurate pumping trials, assessments, and audits.
  • Use appropriate drawings, scope of works and CQA information to complete Gas field maintenance.
  • Liaise with site owners and subcontractors maintaining effective working relationships were appropriate.
  • Instruction and supervision of sub-contractors where appropriate
  • Reducing dependency on contractors, when economic and time essential.
  • Working within the constraints of the company’s HSQE systems.
  • Compliance and implementation of company environmental protection H&S, procurement, and quality assurance procedures with a proactive approach to maintaining, monitoring, reporting and auditing.
  • Commitment to training to enhance knowledge and skills with regard to environmental protection and emergency preparedness skills.
  • Deal directly with spillages using pollution prevention equipment, or where required, employ and supervise third party contractors.

Skills and Expertise:

  • In depth knowledge of the operation of Landfill Gas generation/control schemes is required.
  • CQA (Construction Quality Assurance) experience desirable.
  • 360 and/or backhoe licence preferred.
  • Computer literate (AutoCAD).
  • Holding full UK driver’s licence is essential for this role.
  • Reporting, review, assessment and interpretation skills.
