About the Role:
Experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer responsible for carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance on rubber and plastic machinery, with essential electrical expertise. Ensures safe working practices, compliance with company health and safety procedures, and accurate maintenance records.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will be expected to provide preventative maintenance to rubber and plastic machinery, electrical experience is essential.
- The successful candidate will be required to work primarily at this site but also from time to time elsewhere in the group to support the business, travel will be paid.
- Working safely in accordance with company policy and procedure.
- Efficiently respond to plant and equipment breakdowns.
- Maximise production output and increase reliability.
- Compliance with health and safety procedures.
- Inspection.
- Maintenance of records for plant and equipment.
- Carry out planned and preventative maintenance systems.
Skills and Expertise:
- Have experience with pumps, pipes, motors, gearboxes, pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Must have electrical experience.
- Display good time management skills.
- Show good communication and work well in a team.
- Work well under pressure.
- Have 17th/18th Edition Certification or equivalent safety certification.
- Driving license essential.
- Be motivated and proactive.
