About the Company:

A leading provider of market leading material processing and handling equipment into the Quarrying & Demolition, Recycling, Scrap, Ports and Energy segments across the UK and Ireland.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for the sales and promotion of a to be agreed range of heavy equipment product lines in a to-be-defined sales territory in the South West of England and along the M4 corridor. The role is not office based, rather a mobile field sales role, and will involve daily, on the road, travel to and from customer and prospective sites, with only occasional requirements to meet with management and / or customers at our Portishead site being the norm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Developing an existing portfolio of accounts as well as targeting new business opportunities across a defined region.
  • • Maintaining and updating the CRM with relevant information.
  • • Identifying new business opportunities and potential clients.
  • • Maintaining a deep understanding of the company's products or services and their technical specifications.
  • • Staying updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations relevant to the products or services offered.
  • • Ensuring that all sales activities and practices comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.

Skills and Expertise:

  • • Relevant sales and industry experience and will be required to live within the sales territory agreed.
  • • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • • Full and valid UK or Irish driving licence, as well as a valid passport for some international travel for training and trade show events.
  • • Basic level of IT knowledge.
  • • Experience with E-Mail, Microsoft Works, and Excel.
